About 70 years ago a gentleman named Abubakar bin Pawanchee
published an article in -- I think -- the Journal of the Malay Asiatic
Society about "Keris Mojopahit with side facing hilts". In general,
collectors tend to regard this type of keris sajen as extreme rareities.
I've had a few of them over the years, I think I might have already
sold a couple to you, but this one has always been my favourite. I
don't think it is all that old, probably 19th century, but the engraved
circular motif makes it unique. 9.25"
