Keris 15 An old straight (lurus) Javanese keris, of late Mataram classification and
of East Javanese origin, the pamor is wos wutah and the garap is neat and well
controlled, overall condition is excellent. It is estimated to date from the first
quarter of the 20th century.
The old Jogjakarta gayaman wrongko is in kayu pelet with the mbelang sapi motif,
it has been carefully carved, it has no damage and it is original to the blade. A very
good pendok of silver, deeply embossed with an intricate semen motif is fitted, it
has a few very minor bruises.
The old Jogjakarta hilt, or deder, is of the Banaran form and has been carefully

This keris was acquired during the 1980's from a Javanese collector living in Solo,
