Item 107 A golok from I do not know where. It is first half 20th century, ie,
before 1950. I bought it from an very elderly gentleman who was a merchant
seaman working on ships that went all over South East Asia. He had
forgotten where he bought it.
As can be seen, I have not cleaned it or played with it in any way, it is just as I
bought it. It has not had much use, it looks like it has not been sharpened
except when it was made. The hilt ferrules are steel, the scabbard is bound
with rattan. A plain utilitarian golok.
Blade length 13.25" (335mm) 21.25" (537mm) $40
