This is a South Sumatera hilt that is known to many collectors  as
"Putri Malu", to many other collectors it is known as Balu
Mekabun, and to a few collectors in various places it is a
representation of the "Veiled Durga". I do not know the correct local
name for this hilt form.

This one was rescued from a very old keris that reputedly came into
Australia before 1900, it is cosmetically poor, not of high quality,
but complete, has only the expected bruises of age and is most
certainly  old.
